About the Vacation
We are Holly and Dan, a San Francisco couple facing an unoriginal problem: how to be creative, in a sustained and productive manner, around busy professional schedules. So we lined up a series of rent-free living situations across the continent (many thanks to Eva, Grandma, and Catherine & Tomas), reduced our workload to remote part-time status (many thanks to the recession), and hit the road.
This blog is a record of the experiment. We are aiming for a triumphant Christmastime return with an album (by Dan) and a novel (by Holly). If we come back instead with tanlines and beer bellies, we're total losers.
